For the record, a vegetable is something that comes from a plant, whereas a fruit is something that comes from a flower. If you’re a new foodie, don’t be thrown off by this. Just remember that your zucchini is actually a fruit. It’s considered a fruit because it grows from a flower. Typically fruits have seeds. As for the difference between vegetables and fruits, I wouldn’t worry about it. For the most part, you can eat zucchini and enjoy it for what it is.
