I find it hard to believe that vanilla isn’t a fruit. But, it’s not. In fact, it’s one of my favorite drinks, and I’m not sure why. My guess is that we love it because it tastes good and is a dessert, but it’s definitely not a fruit. Vanilla beans are the yellow seeds inside vanilla pods. These beans are used to make extracts, lotions, and other flavorings. Vanilla comes from a type of orchid. And in Mexico, vanilla is the symbol of love.

They would have no idea what a vanilla bean is, and most likely wouldn’t have a clue what vanilla is. Vanilla is actually a bean with a bit of vanilla extract inside it. It’s actually more like a bean with a bean on it. Vanilla is a bean that has been soaked in alcohol for two years. This process forms vanilla essence. Basically, vanilla extract is a fancy name for vanilla extract.
