Does brisket get more tender the longer you cook it?
If using this method, reduce the cooking time by about half. If you are using a slow cooker, cook the meat for about 3 hours. After cooking, allow the beef to rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Then, slice the steak into thin slices. You can also use a food processor to chop the vegetables. For the sauce, mix the ingredients together until smooth. Pour the mixture over the sliced meat and vegetables and stir well. Serve with the crusty bread. To serve, place a large bowl of ice water next to your stove and set the timer for 30 minutes.
