For those of you who love crepes but aren’t usually allowed to make them because of the mess, this recipe will make your breakfast dreams come true. These crepes are the perfect healthy snack or breakfast. Since cottage cheese is essentially a soft cheese, you won’t even need any milk. Plus, the pancakes can be made with regular pancake mix as opposed to those with a special blend of flours. These pancakes are also quite yummy and healthy. How To Make a Crepe With Crepe Batter
So, you’ve got pancake mix and crepe batter. First, you’ll need some pancake mix. You’ll want to measure out two cups of pancake mix. Place the two cups of pancake mix in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, you’ll want to take the mixture out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for a bit. This will allow you to notice how much of the mixture is absorbed into the batter. You want to pour about half of the pancake mix into the crepe batter. Use a spatula to mix it around until you get a consistency that you want. Pour the rest of the pancake mix into the crepe batter. Pour the mixture into a greased skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes. If you’re wanting to make a crepe, you’ll also want to heat up some pan. And flip the crepe halfway through the cooking time. This can be done by placing the pan on a heat-resistant surface. Then, slide your hand under the crepe and flip it over. You want to make sure the side of the crepe that was on the pan is on top. Cook the crepe for a few more minutes before removing it from the pan. Now, you’re ready to make your first crepe.
