This is why it says that any fruit and vegetable containing a poisonous substance must not be consumed. Example: When a person eats an apple, he or she is poisoned. However, when the person chews on an onion, which contains poison, ingestion of that onion is harmless. Therefore, eating an unpoisoned apple is okay. Similarly, drinking an orange that isn’t tainted with poison will not cause poisoning. Likewise, consumption of a nonpoisonsic drink is fine. As long as it doesn’t contain poisonous substances, consuming a drink will be safe. Paraphrasing: “Any fruit (or vegetable) having a toxic substance” means any edible fruit, vegetable, herb, spice, nut, seed, flower, bark, root, leaf, stem, twig, stalk, husk, grain, fish, shellfish, bird, reptile, mammal, insect, fungus, bacteria, virus, parasite, prion, fungal, yeast, protozoan, plant, animal, mineral, chemical, radioactive, nuclear, biological, radiolabeled or other substance capable of causing harm or death to living beings. “Poison” is a term used to describe any harmful or poisonous chemical or substance. There are many types of poisons, including pesticides, chemicals, drugs, food additives, industrial chemicals and radioactive materials. Many of these poisons are harmful and dangerous. Other poisons may not pose a threat to human life, yet they are still harmful. Poisons are classified as hazardous or non-hazardous. Hazardous poisons include those that pose an immediate threat of death or injury to persons or property. Non-hazards poisons generally pose no immediate danger to anyone. Hazards are poisons that cause significant damage to individuals or their property, suchas carcinogens, neurotoxins, mutagens, teratogens and other poisons. Most poisons fall into the non hazard category. Dangerous poisons usually pose serious threats to public health and safety. Toxicants are substances that either kill or cause serious damage within the body. Common toxicants include pesticides and industrial solvents. Industrial solids are solubilized chemicals that make up the majority of industrial products and are often used in manufacturing processes. Pesticides are chemicals used primarily to control pests. Chemicals used for this purpose are called pesticides.
How do you thicken chicken and dumplings without cornstarch?
