It’s one of the most frustrating and terrifying experience for anyone to thaw a frozen chicken breast. It is likely that you’ve had the unpleasant experience of opening a package of frozen chicken breasts only to find that the meat inside is frozen solid. When this happens, it is a painful process that can take a long time and cause the meat to break, thereby rendering it unappealing to eat. But this isn’t entirely due to the frozen state of the meat. It’s also because of the way frozen chicken breasts are packed. Normally, frozen chicken breasts are vacuum packed in a bag or a container that is highly air-tight, which helps to trap the freezing gas and prevent the meat from thawing.
