How to Make Shrimp Pho?
In our house, Pho is the most requested dish when we’re having friends over. It’s a popular Vietnamese soup dish made with beef or shrimp. The broth has been a staple in our home since I was a child, and we’ve adapted it to serve other meats and vegetables. One way we’ve found to make our own shrimp Pho broth is to purchase or make a shoyu or fish sauce. We’ve found that the flavor of this broth is more rich than the store-bought versions. And then we add rice noodles, jalapeños, celery, and frozen green peas, then douse it all in the broth.
