The type of tofu you want to use depends on the type of food you want to make. For example, you would use more water to press the tofu for an appetizer, but you would use less water to press the tofu for a main course. For the best tofu press, you should look for one with a lot of capacity, meaning that you can press more tofu in one press than in other presses.
How to Keep Tofu Fresh
We want our tofu to keep for a long time. However, tofu doesn’t need to keep for as long as other things like pickles. For tofu to keep for a long time, it needs to be pressed. I recommend using a tofu press. For a few reasons. First, the press allows the tofu to drain more effectively. This way you don’t need to use as much water. Secondly, it makes it possible to save some tofu, allowing you to preserve some delicious tofu for the future. Thirdly, and most importantly, it keeps the tofu from drying out. How to Cut Tofu
Although tofu can be cut with a knife, it is much easier to cut tofu with a flat surface. This is because you can cut the tofu in any direction you want. Simply place the tofu on a cutting board, then press down with your hands or a heavy object. A heavy object can include a cup, or even a stovetop. Once you have a flat surface on the tofu, you can slice it as you desire.

Tofu is a popular choice when it comes to vegetarian dishes. But even though tofu is a great source of protein, it doesn’t require any special cooking skills. In fact, it’s even ready to eat straight from the fridge! Tofu can be made from soy beans that have been soaked in water for a few hours before being pressed. This causes the beans to swell, and this new ‘cheese’ can then be used in just about any dish. Here are some recipes using tofu. Fried Tofu Bao (Pork Buns) – You can make this dish at home with some soy sauce, eggs, and rice. The dish is made with soft and crunchy fried tofu buns, which can be found in the freezer section of your supermarket.
How to Make Tofu
Soak and drain tofu (squeeze tofu to get out excess water) so that it is dry but not to the point of being brittle or to the point that it can be crumbled. If you are using whole beans, you may need to cook them first. If you are using already-drained soy milk you will need to drain it again. If you are using another type of soybean (soybean paste, soybean concentrate, etc), you will need to follow the instructions on the package. Put the tofu on a plate. Line a paper towel with plastic wrap. Put the plate on top of the plastic wrap and put a weight (like a can of beans) on top of the plate. Let sit for at least an hour. The paper towel will absorb the excess water.
