How To Take Care of A Fish After Cooking?
Any fish you prepare for cooking should be kept in the refrigerator immediately after cooking. Any fish that has not been wrapped in foil should be placed in a bowl of water to keep it from drying out. Keep the fish cold and out of sunlight. It should be removed from the refrigerator at least one hour before cooking. Use a fish thermometer to test the temperature of your fish to be sure it is cooked through. The fish should be cooked through when the flesh is opaque. If you are cooking a large fish, be sure to calculate the cooking time to allow time for the fish to cook through. Allow the cooked fish to rest in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
