A few weeks ago I asked you to make the Acai Superfruit Smoothie and now I’m back with the Acai Berry Frozen Dessert. In this recipe we’re using real berries in place of the acai, but the result is still a refreshing summery treat. These recipes work equally well as they are both refreshing desserts. This one is based on a vibrant berry flavor and comes with some extra punch from the acai. Acai berries are unique because they contain antioxidants and a variety of vitamins and minerals. They’re a delicious fruit packed with nutrients and give you energy to fuel your day. Acai berries are also very high in fiber and have a low fat content. Acai berries can be eaten out of hand, but I suggest you add them to smoothies for an extra boost of fiber and nutrients.
What Do I Need?
Some of the ingredients you’ll need:
1. Acai berry powder
2. Apple or banana
3. Water
4. Coconut water
5. Lime

In this case, you combine some of my favorite things — blueberries, strawberries, and cacao. If you don’t have cacao, you can substitute with any other superfood. 1.3 bananas 1 cup frozen strawberries 2 cups acai pulp
3. pour the acai pulp in the blender.
4. add the frozen strawberries into the acai pulp and the bananas.
5. pour the mixture into a freezer safe jar and place in the freezer.
6. leave it in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
7. remove from the freezer and shake well and enjoy it.
