The current recipe I will be using for this video is my own version of a soft taco. I have been eating them for the last few years, and I find that they are delicious, healthy, and very filling. The only reason I chose this recipe is that it is the easiest of the ones I have seen in the past. The hardest part is just measuring the right amount of ingredients.
What are Tacos?
A taco is a Mexican dish consisting of a tortilla (or “taco” in Spanish), which is then filled with one or more ingredients. Tacos are served traditionally as an appetizer, or snack, in Mexico and in the southwestern United States. At many restaurants, tacos are served as an entrée. The ingredients for a taco can be as simple as ground meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, or as elaborate as beef, chicken, or fish. The taco shell varies from place to place, but it is generally made from corn or wheat flour. The shell can be prepared by hand or machine. Many tacos are made with taco meat, also called “pollo asado,” “tacos de carne asada” or “chorizo” in Spanish.
