Roast Potatoes Ingredients
I know its hard to believe but we eat Potatoes on the Regular and we all know how to make roast potatoes. BUT, roast potatoes should be made without any seasoning and just salt and pepper. I like to use the sea salt and sea pepper from Penzeys Spices. The basics of roasting are with a pan and lots of salt, when the potatoes are parboiled for about 8-10 minutes you drain the water and then add the potatoes back to the pan. and roast at 425-450 for 25-35 minutes, I don’t measure. For each potato I add about 2 teaspoons of sea salt and a tablespoon of sea pepper. After the potatoes have been roasted you can garnish with chopped garlic, or sour cream, or fresh herbs. I also like to mix the potatoes with garlic, herbs, and salt and pepper and then pan fry the potatoes in oil.
