I wanted to make some new, quick and healthy breakfast items to snack on when we had a morning breakfast date. Most of the time I found that just plain oatmeal was a treat but it was not something that could satisfy my husband and I both.
Method
My mom is an excellent cook, but she loves to make oatmeal cookies. The problem is that I’m allergic to peanuts, and she wants me to eat them.
Step by Step
The recipe is really simple. You need one egg white, one egg, 1/4 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Put them all together and bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

The ingredients and the temperature in the oven are what the baker controls, and the other variables are uncontrollable. Baking is used for a variety of foods, including cookies, bread, cakes, pancakes, biscuits, and muffins. These foods have a high carbohydrate content and are generally full of calories. Baking is a craft that is generally practiced by women, and it is sometimes used to impress others. Baking can also be used as a leisure activity. When you bake, you control most of the factors that you wouldn’t normally control when cooking. You control the temperature, moisture, and the chemical reactions.

This is a real recipe I’ve used many times! I make these for my kids. They love it.
Toppings
But I want to know, what are some other good toppings for oatmeal cookies? I’ve made my oatmeal cookies with a butter spread that I add a little honey to, or you can buy unsalted butter and add a little honey to that as well. I’ve made a granola topping using honey and cinnamon. You can try that too. It’s a really good topping, and it’s sweet, but it’s not too sweet. Also, you can try topping it with chopped dried apricots, raisins, or even chopped pecans. I love oatmeal cookies topped with peanut butter, so you can try that if you’d like too. You could add cinnamon and a little nutmeg to the peanut butter for a bit of a spicy flavor.
