However, with the popularity of Latin American cuisine, agua fresca has become a popular drink in the United States. Agua fresca is made from sugarcane juice, water, and a lime or lemon wedge. Once all three ingredients have been blended together, you have agua fresca. You can serve it cold or hot, depending on how you prefer to drink it. Agua fresca can also be used as a flavoring agent for cocktails and sodas.
