We love our meat and fries, but the typical healthy eating diet only has room for so much. It’s important to take advantage of all of the great food you can enjoy without feeling guilty. One way to enjoy all of the great foods you love is to create some healthier meals at home. One of our favorite snacks is kale chips. This crunchy snack is packed full of nutrients, making it an ideal snack for vegetarians and vegans. This recipe will help you create the perfect chips for your next snack.
Make Kale Chips and eat them while they are hot
Making kale chips from scratch is time-consuming and requires a fair amount of patience. The easiest way to enjoy kale chips is to buy them already made. They’re usually quite good, and they’re much easier to eat. They also tend to be a lot less expensive. However, if you want to make them yourself, you’ll need to buy some of the ingredients, and you’ll need a kitchen machine to make them. Kale chips are usually made with oil, a combination of sea salt and pepper, and sometimes other ingredients. You can use a food processor or blender to make the kale chips, but it will take longer. Another option is to use an air fryer. This method doesn’t require any kitchen machines or oil, and it’s a fairly quick process. The food is fried in the air and is left to cool, allowing it to crisp up in the oven after you take it out.
Kale Chips Tips
This recipe uses a baking sheet so that you can freeze the chips and then easily transfer them to the air fryer. This is a great option if you don’t have an air fryer. Feel free to use a cookie sheet to bake the chips, and then transfer them to the air fryer.
Ingredients
Kale is a leafy vegetable that is high in vitamin K, vitamin C, calcium and fiber. Kale is a nutritious, calcium rich green vegetable that has been touted for it’s powerful health benefits for years. So, why not make delicious, healthful and fun kale chips?
Preparation
Kale chips are a healthy snack that you can make at home. Air frying allows you to cook food without any oil or salt. To make these kale chips, start by washing your kale leaves and chopping them into small pieces. When they are ready, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can then lightly sprinkle with salt, place in the oven and air fry for 10 to 15 minutes.
Experience
It is quick, easy, and convenient. Unlike ovens, an air fryer cooks food quickly without burning or drying it out. Plus, you can start cooking and leave it unattended for up to 30 minutes. The other great thing about air fryers is that you can cook in very little space. And, they typically don’t take up a lot of room, so you can take them with you if you go out or leave the house. They also come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. If you have a slow cooker, an air fryer can also work with that as well.
