Make Your Own Kettle Pot
Mummy makes my best chicken soup and all you need to make your own chicken soup is: chicken and a few veggies. The chicken must be left to simmer for at least three hours or until the chicken is soft. I make a lot of different soups so I only use the breast meat from one chicken, then using the breast meat, the carcass is used for soup base.
What is Soup?

Homemade Chicken Soup Recipe
Chicken soup is a popular home remedy that people use for the common cold. There are many other benefits to chicken soup besides treating the common cold, including being good for your general health. This is why people often make chicken soup for themselves and their family. Most often, they will make a large pot of soup for the entire family and share it out, but you can make just a small batch to serve yourself. The most important thing to remember when making homemade chicken soup is to use a whole chicken and the meat from that chicken, including the bones. This gives you the maximum amount of protein and nutrients. Also, you want to make sure the chicken is cooked and is not raw or frozen.
Cooking Your Own Soup
Home-made chicken soup can be a powerful and safe remedy for cold and flu. A traditional recipe for chicken soup is to boil a whole chicken, cut it up and mix it into a pot with vegetables and spices. However, making chicken soup at home isn’t hard, especially if you have leftovers from the fridge. Here’s how to make your own: 1. Take 1 onion and half a head of celery, slice the onion and chop the celery. Peel and chop an apple, carrot, potato, pepper and garlic. 2. Heat up a few tablespoons of oil in a big pot. Add the onion and celery and allow to soften for a few minutes. 3. Add the carrot, potato, apple, pepper and garlic. Toss the vegetables and cook for another couple of minutes. 4. Add the chicken stock, and let everything simmer for around 15-20 minutes. 5. Add in the chopped chicken or any leftover chicken, and let it simmer for another 20-30 minutes. 6. Add the cooked pasta or grains of your choice, cover the pot and let it simmer until the pasta is fully cooked. 7. Stir in some pepper and salt to taste.
