Start by placing the jello in a medium-sized bowl and stir it occasionally to help it mix evenly. Then, pour the mixture into an airtight container, cover and chill it in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. This will help the jello set properly. After the jello is set, it can be mixed with the other ingredients to make your candy.

Ingredients:
2-3 cups cold water
1 packet unflavored gelatin
4 cups sugar
4 cups water
Directions:
1. Pour water in a small pot and bring to a boil.
2. While waiting on the water to boil, place gelatin in a large mixing bowl and add 2 cups cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
3. When boiling water has been brought to a boil, remove from heat and immediately add sugar. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
4. Add the water that gelatin was sitting in to the sugar water and mix well.
5. Once the sugar water and gelatin mixture has been combined, add 4 cups of cold water and stir.
6. Place jello in a 9×13 dish and refrigerate overnight.
