Enjoy homemade jelly!
The Grape Jelly is a classic summer flavor treat. This recipe makes about 4 cups of jelly, enough to serve 6 to 8.
• Ingredients:
• 1 quart grape juice
• 2 pints jelly mix
• 1/2 pint sugar
• 1 lemon or orange
• Directions:
• Bring the grape juice to a boil and turn heat down to low.
• Cook 1/2 to 1 hours, until desired consistency is achieved.
• Strain the grape juice through a jelly strainer.
• Add sugar to the strained juice and stir until it is dissolved.
• Put in 1 pint of the jelly mix to the grape juice mixture, and stir well.
• Pour into jelly jars. Add the slices of lemon or orange, and store in refrigerator.
