To make this recipe, you will need: 1/2 cup of rice, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 cups of chicken broth, 2 cups of water, 1 chopped red bell pepper, 1 chopped yellow bell pepper, 1 chopped green bell pepper, 1 chopped green chili, 1 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lime juice, 1 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of corn starch, 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1/2 chopped green onion, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper. For starters, we start with cooking the rice by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil and then we combine the rice and 1 cup of the water and the wait for it to boil for 15 minutes, reduce the heat and cover the pot for another 10 minutes, and then we fluff the rice and allow it to cool down. Next, we combine the soy sauce, chicken broth and the water and we bring it to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes and then we add the chopped bell peppers and we continue to simmer for 10 more minutes. After that, we add the chopped green chili pepper, lime juice, lemon juice and the corn starch and we stir it all together and we then cook it for 5 more minutes.
