Black garlic means the same thing as garlic, except that it has a darker color. However, unlike garlic which is generally used fresh, black garlic can only be purchased fresh. You must purchase it from a reputable source. This is because the quality of blackgarlic varies greatly depending on how old the garlic was when it was bought. If you buy it too young, you will get a less intense flavor. On the other hand, if it were bought too old, there would be no flavor at all. So, always buy black garlian from the right source! The garlic plant is native to Europe and has spread throughout the world. Garlic is usually consumed fresh or cooked.

Can you make black garlic in the oven?
