Making An Iced Caramel Macchiato
When I was at school, I never made an iced caramel macchiato myself. But since I’ve moved to London, I’ve really fallen in love with them. So, I thought I’d share my method with you. This recipe will make a tall, flat, thick, and super sweet drink. To make a thin, flat, drink, you should go down a shot of espresso or half an ounce of good quality coffee.
What Ingredients do you need?
We start by choosing our base. We will be using whole milk, but if you prefer you can use skim milk, or even 2% milk. We then add cream. To the bowl we add 1 cup of sugar, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a few splashes of coffee. Our base is boiling at this stage. We then add our cup of frothed milk and let it boil for a minute, then cover the bowl with a kitchen cloth to minimize the amount of steam that escapes. We let it cook for 3 minutes, then take the pot off of the stove and mix it with a hand mixer. We let it rest for 5 minutes before adding the remaining sugar. We mix it once more.
To make a delicious iced caramel macchiato
One of the most popular Starbucks drinks is the iced caramel macchiato. Although this drink was invented in Italy, it was Starbucks who was able to bring it to our doorsteps. To make a delicious iced caramel macchiato you’ll need the following ingredients: coffee, milk, whipping cream, sugar and caramel. First, put the coffee and milk in a bowl and whisk them together. Then, add the whipping cream and sugar and whisk that. Finally, pour the milk and cream mixture in a jar and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. After that, add the caramel and stir it. Finally, serve it immediately and enjoy! If you’re a busy person, it’s best to make this drink in advance, and then have it ready to be served in the morning.
