How to Make Baked Dumplings
Baked dumplings or momos are a delicious type of dumpling found in Nepal, Tibet, and parts of Northern India. They can also be found in other countries where dumplings have been introduced. These dumplings are usually made with a flour or dough that is shaped into circles or squares before they are filled with a savory or sweet mixture. They can be made in a variety of different shapes, but the most common shape is a square dumpling with two sides that fold over into the center. There are a few different ways to make this dumpling, but the most common method is to mix some flour, salt, and water until a ball of dough forms. Next, you need to roll the dough into a round, and then form the dumpling into a square shape. You can then fill the dumpling with the mixture of your choice, and then wrap the edges of the dumpling with dough, to seal it. To cook the dumplings, you first need to place them into a hot skillet or wok with enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Then, cook the dumplings on a medium heat for about four to five minutes, until the dough on the outside of the dumpling is slightly brown. The outside of the dumpling should be crunchy. When they’re ready, you can eat them with a side of vegetable or soup.
