Estrogen dominance occurs when estrogen levels are too high in the body. There are a number of ways that estrogen dominance can be eliminated. By improving the body’s estrogen balance, the estrogen dominance and a number of conditions linked to high estrogen levels, such as breast cancer, osteoporosis, heart disease, and the menopause, can be effectively reversed.
Estrogen Dominance Symptoms
Estrogen dominance is a hormone imbalance that can lead to symptoms such as increased body fat, bone loss, and hot flashes. A person who has estrogen dominance will often find that their cycle becomes erratic and that their menstrual cycle becomes much more erratic. This is typically because of an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone hormones. The first thing to do when dealing with estrogen dominance is to reduce the amount of phytoestrogens in your diet, because they are known to block the activity of estrogen. Estrogen dominance can also be treated with the use of soy products, which are high in isoflavones.
Fixing Estrogen Dominance
The most common treatment for estrogen dominance is hormone replacement therapy, but it’s important to recognize that hormone replacement therapy should only be used under the supervision of a physician. Hormone replacement therapy also has some serious risks, so it’s important to talk to your doctor before using it. There are also many other treatments available for estrogen dominance, including nutritional therapies, hormonal therapy, and anti-estrogen therapy.
Does Your Dog Smell Like Estrogen?
A little known but important fact is that our dogs have their own unique and distinct scent. Dogs have receptors in their noses that are sensitive to estrogens. This causes their noses to be more sensitive to the smell of estrogen. Just as we humans have our own unique scent, dogs have their own scent. The pheromones that dogs smell are similar to estrogen. This has many implications for our dogs. One of these is that they are more likely to be attracted to estrogen, and they will be more likely to make sexual advances toward the human they are attracted to.
How to Fix an Estrogen Dominant Dog
In our experience, all of our dogs have been estrogen dominant and experienced some of the same issues. We offer our recommendations based on what we know, but they are not intended to be an exhaustive list.
Is Your Dog’s Odor a Good or Bad Thing?
If your dog’s pheromones are causing your partner to feel uncomfortable, there are some things that you can do to keep the pheromone levels down. You should start by removing all of your dogs’ scent glands. Next, you can use a deodorizer or spray bottle to keep your dog from having a strong smell. If this doesn’t work, you can try a hypoallergenic shampoo.
