Thaw the whole chicken in cold water for at least an hour or two. This will help to keep it from spoiling and will also keep the skin from drying out. After the chicken is defrosted, it should be handled as little as possible, so the juices don’t come out.

But if you want chicken soup quickly, you can do it in a few ways. First, you can use a blender to puree the broth. This is usually the fastest method. If you don’t have a blender, you can also use an immersion blender. Alternatively, you can make it in a slow cooker. Simply add the ingredients into the slow cooker, turn it on and walk away. In just under six hours, you’ll have a nice, warm and ready-to-eat chicken soup. Of course, if you’re in a hurry, you could always use pre-cut chicken. If you’re planning on cooking in the oven, I’d recommend an internal roasting temperature of 160 degrees. You can do this by baking the chicken for about an hour and a half to an hour or two. Then, turn the oven off and let the chicken rest for about an hour. This allows the heat inside to dissipate and the chicken to cook to a safe internal temperature of 160 degrees.

With just a few ingredients that you probably have in your fridge, you can defrost a whole chicken in no time. To start, you’ll need a plastic bag large enough to fit the whole chicken in it. Next, you’ll need a meat thermometer. This is a handy device that will be able to give you an accurate temperature of the meat in the bag. The best part is that it is inexpensive. Once you’ve got these two things, it’s time to put it to use. First, cover the bag with a towel to insulate it from the heat from the oven. The best time to do this is when you take the chicken out of the fridge so that it has time to come to room temperature. Next, open up the bag and place it in a casserole dish. Now, set the dish in the oven and turn on the oven. This will cause the heat to build inside the bag. Once the temperature reaches an ideal level, you’ll need to remove it from the oven.
