Most people, when they think of beef, associate it with steak. But in fact, beef can be used to make many different kinds of dishes. Here’s how to cut beef.
Shredding a Beef
After prepping the steak and slicing it in half, place it on the cutting board. Make a slice from the tip to the bottom of the steak, not crossing the grain. Do not cut across the grain. Use your fingers to work the meat in a sawing motion, cutting away excess fat and connective tissue. Start at the tip of the steak and make your way to the opposite end. The goal is to separate all of the meat without tearing it. When you get to the opposite end, repeat the process. The steak should now be in shreds.

There are many ways to cook beef, but the key thing to remember is to slow cook and serve it rare or medium rare. This way you can enjoy the beef without it drying out. Slow cooking also helps tenderize the meat. You can then serve it with all sorts of vegetables and spices.
