So, here’s a method to curve text and lettering on a Cricut machine that I’ve been using. The first thing you’ll need is some photo paper. Cricut recommends using something that’s 1/8″ or 1/4″ thick. I found that I get good results when I use the black paper that you can get at Staples, but most craft stores also carry it. You also want to make sure that your paper is a weight that is appropriate for the Cricut machine. My paper that I got is a 90 lb. stock, but I’ve heard that some of the heavy-duty paper will work better. You’ll also need a rubber stamp or lettering stamp that can write the lettering. You can use an ink pad to apply a rubber stamp. Or, if you have access to a laser printer, you can use a laser stylus to directly write the lettering. You’ll also need an iPad. You can use the Cricut Air 2 for this method, but you can also use the iPad that you have if you don’t have the Cricut. The method involves a lot of trial and error.

In the app, you’ll first need to create a project. After that, you’ll need to choose what type of text you’d like to cut. You can cut words, numbers, letters, and other symbols. You can cut one or more layers of text. Then, start cutting! You can even rotate and mirror your design. And once you’re finished, you can save your design to the cloud for later use. Then, you can connect your machine to the cloud and use the Cricut Design Studio app to transfer your design to the machine.
