Today, we are going to talk about tomatillos, how to cook tomatillos, and how to use them in a recipe. Tomatillos are a fruit with a firm, long green husk that surrounds it. The inside of the husk is bright red and in the middle, it is red and has a small green dot. Tomatillos are available year round, and there are many varieties, so we can vary the food. However, the main part of the fruit is a pear-shaped fruit that grows on a large tree. Inside the husk, it is attached to a long green stem and has a small green dot in the middle. The size of the fruit varies depending on the variety. The small green dot inside the fruit has a yellow dot around it. The fruit also contains a thick liquid that is almost like a little water.
Tips for Cooking
Tomatillos are often used in salsas and chili’s, but they can also be used in other ways. We’ll walk through the basics of how to cook tomatillos, so you can use them to their fullest potential. Wash the tomatillos, then remove the stem and cut the tomatillos into slices. If you don’t want the skins to be left on, just wash and cut them into pieces. Put the tomatillos in a pot with about 4 cups of water, cover with a lid, and boil for about 20 minutes. You should be able to get around 3 cups of tomatillos from these 4 cups of water. After the water has boiled, remove the lid and put the lid back on the pot. Boil the tomatillos for a few more minutes until the water is almost evaporated. Take off the lid again and remove the tomatillos from the pot. You can use the remaining water as a base for the salsa or another recipe.
How To Store Tomatillos
