What is an air fryer?
An air fryer is a specialized cooking device designed to cook food by means of circulating hot air. This is in contrast to normal cooking methods which use steam or boiling water. The device circulates air which reaches high temperatures, usually around 375 °F. The hot air is then passed over food, which causes the food to brown. The air in an air fryer is usually heated by means of electricity. An air fryer can be used to cook a number of different types of food, including fries, chicken, and fish. The device is often used in place of traditional deep frying. Air fryers are usually energy-efficient, and also produce much less toxic waste than normal deep frying.
The right way to cook chicken
Before trying any recipes with a whole chicken, you’ll need to figure out how you’d like to prepare it. We recommend using a grill or grill pan when cooking with a whole chicken.
