Here’s how to cook a tenderloin filet in the oven. All you need is some onions and the tenderloin. The onion provides great flavor, and the tenderloin makes for tender meat. And then you need to cook it in the oven.

But What Should I Put On It?

For this recipe you will need:
Tenderloin Filet, slice ½” thick (if you buy a bigger tenderloin filet, you will be able to cut it into slices thinner)
Butter, 1/3 cup (I prefer butter, but I’ve also had some people say they prefer cream cheese and some people say they like ricotta cheese)
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Olive oil, 1 teaspoon
Garnish, (I recommend spinach, red onion, or roasted broccoli)
[Note]: The filet can come with a cover, but I prefer to remove it as it’s easier for me to brush the spices on that way, as well as help keep the cover in place if needed.
First, preheat your oven to 400°F.
[Note]: If you don’t have a tenderloin filet, you can use one of your favorite steaks, but remember that you will be cutting into it, so it will be difficult to do the spices on that way, but it will still be delicious.
[Note]: Get a large piece of aluminum foil, and cover it with a double layer of paper towels. Fold the paper towels into the aluminum foil and set that aside.
[Note]: You may want to cut your tenderloin filet into thinner slices to make it more tender, but I would say that doing so is up to you.
