How to cook sinigang na salmon

Preparing sinaloong na fish dishes can be tricky, but nothing is quite as easy as sinaloong na sinigang. In this video, I show you how to make this popular Filipino dish using a steamer. You’ll need: 1 1/2 pounds of salmon fillets, 1/2 cup of vinegar, 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. First, prepare your steamer and bring the water to a boil. Add the vinegar and sugar to the boiling water, then immediately reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the salmon and cover the steamer. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, then drain and remove the salmon from the steamer. To make the sauce, combine the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with white rice. This dish is delicious, easy to make, and it’s a perfect weekend meal!
