A frozen pork chop is one of the simplest ways to cook a pork chop. You just cook it on the stove, serve it, and eat it. However, when you make a frozen pork chop, you’ll have to be careful about timing. You’ll also have to have the right equipment and be careful about how you cook it. If you’re interested in making frozen pork chops, you’ll find all the information you need here.
Cooking on the Stove
In order to cook on the stove, you need to heat up the burner with the heat on high and then turn the burner to low. Once you turn the burner to low, you will be able to cook your frozen pork chops. Cook the pork chops in small batches, otherwise, they will just continue to cook as you turn the burner on and off. If you do this, you’ll have to use a thermometer to be sure that your pork chops are cooked all the way through.
How to Cook Frozen Pork Chops on the Stove
You can cook frozen pork chops in the microwave. Simply defrost the pork chops and put them in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp. of soy sauce, 2 tsp. of honey, and 1 tsp. of brown sugar. Stir the pork chops around in the sauce, cover, and let the pork chops cook for 1 minute. Then remove the cover and continue to cook the pork chops for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
Cook the pork chops
I think the best thing to do with frozen pork chops is thaw them first. Simply place the pork chops in a microwave safe bowl, cover with a microwave safe plate, and heat on high in the microwave for about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork chops from the microwave and allow them to cool for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, start heating up your pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the pork chops in the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side. Remove the pork chops from the pan, allow them to cool for about 5 minutes, and then slice and enjoy!
Prep the pork chops
First, remove the pork chops from the freezer and let them defrost in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the pork chops from the package and pat them dry with a paper towel. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before cooking. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and pour in a 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops and brown for 3 minutes on each side. Remove the pork chops and keep warm. Pour out the oil from the skillet and place the skillet over medium-low heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook for about 5 minutes until fragrant. Add the sour cream and mix well. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them on a serving plate. Put the skillet back on the stove and pour in the remaining oil from the pork chops. Allow the oil to heat up and cook the pork chops for another 5 minutes. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and garnish with chopped parsley and sliced fresh chives.
Put the chops in the pan
The best way to cook frozen pork chops is to start them in a pan. After you thaw the pork chops, pour in a little olive oil and put them in the pan. Cook the pork chops for about 10 minutes, turning them over after 5 minutes. By this time, they should be cooked through. The pork chops will still be a little pink in the middle. Let them rest for a few minutes, then serve them with some creamy coleslaw.
