We all know that cooking chicken in a pressure cooker is faster than cooking it using other methods. However, many of us don’t know how to cook chicken in a pressure cooker. This is a misconception, as the process is actually quite simple.

I was cooking frozen chicken in a pressure cooker for the first time and it’s one of my favorite ways to make chicken, so I thought I would share how to cook frozen chicken in a pressure cooker.

Step by step

I do a lot of cooking in my pressure cooker. But even I need help sometimes. So, this is what I learned from my pressure cooker. First, make sure your pressure cooker is fully charged. If it’s not, don’t worry. Just put a pot of water on the stove to heat. When it’s at a full boil, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, put your frozen chicken and spices into the pressure cooker. Add some oil to the pot, if you want. Use the handle to place the pressure cooker on the stove over a high heat. Set the valve to “Sealing” and give the lid a shake. Once the valve is sealed, start heating your pressure cooker on the stove. Cook the pressure cooker for 10-15 minutes. Then, use the valve to let out all the pressure. Once all the pressure has been released, open the valve and remove the lid. Pour the chicken and juices into a bowl. Make sure the chicken is fully cooked before eating. Let it cool for a few minutes before you eat. You can cook up to 6 frozen chicken pieces at once.
