Chicken Soup for Health Benefits
Like many of you I love chicken, especially chicken soup. I also have a problem with eating chicken. I find that I get really bloated after eating it, and I don’t like that feeling. So I’ve been on a mission to find a way to cook my chicken without all the grease and fat, and without me feeling bloated. Here’s what I found. In a medium sized bowl, combine all the ingredients except the seasoning and the chicken. Mix well. Put the bowl on the counter, or in the fridge, to let it come to room temperature. Season the chicken with the seasoned salt, and place into the Instant Pot. Cook the chicken on high pressure for 15 minutes. Once complete let it come down to a lower pressure setting. Let it cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot and place it on a plate. You can eat it right away or let it cool down for a bit.

Does the Chicken have to be Frozen
I have talked about the benefits of freezing chicken breasts before, so I thought I would share my favorite cooking tip. This also goes for steaks, pork, and many other meats. There are a number of benefits to freezing meat, but one of my favorite is the fact that it keeps them from drying out. Many steaks are better for cooking when they are a day old. I recommend freezing meat when you get them home so you can just pop it in the fridge the next day. What does this really mean for you? Here’s a quick tip that will help you accomplish this: First, thaw your frozen chicken in the refrigerator. This will allow you to defrost it over time. Next, put the chicken in the Instant Pot. This will help cook the chicken faster. Then, stick the lid on and set the pressure valve to “sealing.” Next, just let the chicken cook on “Sealing” for about 10-12 minutes. Then, open the valve and turn it down to “Manual.” Then, pressure cook it for another 5 minutes. Finally, do a quick release of the pressure and remove the chicken. A nice piece of advice here is to remove the cheese from the chicken before you serve it. It is best to serve the chicken before it starts to thaw.
