Please dont use google to find Mop Sauce recipe because it’s impossible to get the correct ingredients. I did a lot of research and found the best way to make MoP sauce is to have the following ingredients and then in order:
•1/2 pound bacon
•3/4 pound bacon grease
•3 pounds of white vinegar
•4 pounds of sugar
•3 teaspoons salt
•1 tablespoon onion powder
•1/2 teaspoon pepper
•1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
•1/2 cup flour
•1/4 cup water
•Cook bacon in fryer, strain bacon grease and save
Cook vinegar for several hours then strain to remove solids
Now mix in the rest of the ingredients together and cook for an hour to thicken.
Mix the result together and get it on the ribs.
