Prepare the Rub
To cook a few pounds of ribs, you need to start by soaking them in cold water for two to three hours. Then, you’ll need to drain and pat them dry. Pat dry the ribs and season them with salt and pepper. Combine half the amount of salt and pepper to the other half of your spices. Next, you’ll want to mix the spices together and rub it onto the ribs. Start by rubbing on the ribs on the outside of the meat. Then, you can rub the spices into the ribs by rubbing them directly over the ribs. Next, add a few tablespoons of canola oil to a frying pan, and heat it up. The oil should be hot enough to sizzle, but not scorch or smoke. This is where you will put the ribs into the pan. When the ribs are fully in the pan, allow them to cook for about 20 minutes. Rotate them after 10 minutes, and then cook for another 15 minutes. When the ribs are done, remove them from the pan and slice them. This is how you make a good level of protein. When the water reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit, remove the pot from the heat. The ribs are done when they are fork-tender. Drain the ribs and let them sit on a cutting board. While they are sitting on the cutting board, you can sprinkle some salt and pepper on the ribs. This helps to season the meat.
