Preparing
Preparing cubed pork steak can be a tricky process, because you want the meat to be super tender. The key to cubed pork steak is to cook it at a medium-low temperature. Cooking cubed pork steak slowly, while slightly undercooking, allows the meat to reach tenderness when it’s cooked. You’ll want to remove the roast from the oven when it reaches medium-low internal temperature. Let the roast rest for five minutes and the meat will be easier to slice.

1 piece cubed pork steak
Salt and Pepper to taste

2 tbsp of cooking oil
To start, you want to remove the fat and sinew from the meat. You can do this by using a knife to slice the meat in half lengthwise. Then, slide a knife between the sinew and the meat to separate it. Then, slice it in half again to create 4 thinner pieces. You want to set this aside for now. Now that it’s been cut, you can start prepping the steak. Rub the salt and pepper onto the meat, and then let it sit for 30 minutes. Then, grease a pan with cooking oil, and set it over medium heat. Then, add your cubed pork steak to the pan. You want to cook the meat until it has caramelized. This is when you will see a nice light golden color start to show. To do this, you will want to flip the meat every so often. You will want to make sure that you don’t cook the steak too long or it will toughen. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once the steak has caramelized, you will want to flip it again and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the steak from the pan, and then let it sit for 5 minutes. Remove the steak from the pan, and then season it with salt and pepper. You can either serve it in a pan on a plate,
