In this video, we are going to make chicken kabobs. They are delicious, filling and relatively simple to make.
How to Make Sticky Chicken Kabobs
Chicken kabobs are one of the best and easiest meals you can make. They’re really easy to put together and they’re guaranteed to satisfy your family or friends. I made these chicken kabobs using chicken breast, but they can also be made using chicken thighs or drumsticks. However, I’d recommend using thighs as it’s easy to get the meat off the bone and they’re more flavorful. Chicken breast is also more expensive and it’s harder to get the meat off the bone. If you’re using chicken thighs, make sure to cut them up so that you’re getting the chicken meat off the bone, or you’ll have a hard time getting it to stick to the stick. To make these kabobs, you’ll need: -A marinade Ingredients. This marinade can be made from fresh ingredients or you can use a store-bought mixture. I chose to use some basic ingredients: -Garlic -Lemon -Cilantro -Juice of 1 lemon -Juice of 1 lime -Cayenne pepper
Ingredients
Ingredients:
Chicken breast
Cucumbers
Rice
Onion
Garlic
Oregano
Thyme
Oil
Salt
Pepper
How to Cook Kabobs
To cook kabobs, you want to cut the chicken into cubes. You want the chicken to cook quickly, so you don’t want to cut the chicken too small. For the marinade, mix 2 teaspoons of paprika, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1/2 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of garlic, 2 tablespoons of onion, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of salt. Place the chicken into a bowl, and add the marinade. Stir to combine, and set aside to marinate. Preheat your grill to medium. After marinating the chicken, you want to thread the chicken onto the kabobs. To thread the chicken onto the kabobs, start by threading the chicken onto a skewer. Then thread the skewers through the chicken cubes, about 4 or 5 at a time. Preheat your grill to high. Grill for about 6-10 minutes. After cooking the chicken, you want to remove the chicken from the skewers. Place the chicken on a plate, and cover to keep warm. Use the same marinade as the chicken to make the sauce. Pour the oil from the marinade into a pan, and add the paprika, chili powder, salt, and honey. Stir to combine. Once the oil has cooled, add the garlic. Add the chicken. Reduce the heat to low. Cook until warmed through, about 5-10 minutes.
Tools
Get creative and make your own tools using the things around you. For example, you can make your own tool by using a rope to stick the chicken kabobs on the skewers. Or, you can make your own tools by using a hammer to smash small pieces of vegetables on your skewers. Another way to make a simple tool is to simply use a screwdriver to poke holes in the chicken kabobs to make them easier to hold on to.
