How to Cook White Rice
Cook white rice in a rice cooker. First, wash and drain the rice. Put the rice in the pot. Cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to low, and let cook for 40 minutes. At the end of the cooking time, drain the water, and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve with any of your favorite toppings.
Can I Use The Rice Cooker For Brown Rice
RICE & GRANOLA & PASTA &… You get the picture. You can make things in the rice cooker that are commonly prepared using pots and pans. You can’t, however, use the rice cooker to make porridge because the grains won’t clump. You can make quick, baked pasta, like penne rigate or small tubes, in the rice cooker. But that’s pretty much it. You cannot use the rice cooker for traditional rice preparations, such as plain rice, paella, jasmine or basmati rice. Sorry.
