Today, I’m going to teach you how to cook a dish that combines one of the most delicious foods on the planet, fish, with bourbon that you’ll love. Here’s a little background on bourbon. It’s a type of whiskey made from the fermented mash of the mash made from grain, usually corn, that is aged in a barrel for at least a year. A lot of famous bourbon brands were born right here in Kentucky, so it’s very fitting that we’re making a dish inspired by Kentucky bourbon.

Today we’re gonna show you how to make your own home made bourbon smoked salmon. This will be a little bit more expensive than store bought, but the results are worth it. All you need is a few ingredients and a little time. Let’s get started!

This goes without saying, but you need to get your kitchen in order before making your main course. I’d suggest having your baking ingredients on hand, a good knife or two, and a cutting board. You’ll also want to make sure you have a loaf of bread in the fridge, a glass of milk, and some protein-packed snacks. This means you’ll have everything you need to make an appetizing and nutritious meal without having to go to the store. To make sure you’ve got everything you need, you can print off a grocery list. You can also have a head start by following these tips. Keep the following things on hand: Grains: Whole-grain bread, oats, and rice are all great additions to your grocery list.

Spices are small ingredients that are typically used to enhance the flavor of foods. Many spices are derived from plants, while others are extracted from natural sources. Spices can come in a variety of different forms, including powder, flakes, and liquid. For example, the famous Mexican hot sauce, Sriracha, is a mixture of chili peppers that are fermented with salt, sugar, and sometimes garlic. Another common spice, paprika, comes from a plant, but it’s made by grinding dried peppers and adding them to food.

What you will need:
1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 salmon filets, skin on
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
Pinch of paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
How to cook bourbon salmon:
1. Pour oil in a deep skillet
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
3. Add salmon to skillet skin side down.
4. Cook about 4 minutes.
5. Flip salmon and cook for another 4 minutes
6. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and paprika.
7. Add the milk, sugar, and flour to a bowl and mix.
8. After salmon is cooked remove from skillet and coat with flour mixture.
9. Place coated salmon back into skillet and bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.
