How to choose the right cut
If you’re new to cooking meat on the stove top, this is a good recipe to try. As long as you’ve chosen the right cut of meat, you should be able to get great results with this recipe. It’s a quick and easy meal to make. In fact, it can be made in under an hour. Start by heating 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chops and brown for 5 to 7 minutes on each side. This will give the meat a rich flavor, and will help the meat brown evenly. Remove the chops to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm. Next, add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the broth and wine, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced. Add the sherry and stir to scrape up any bits from the bottom of the skillet. Reduce the heat to low, and add the rosemary, thyme, and sage. Add the pork chops to the pan, and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Serve with a side of couscous or rice and a fresh garden salad.

Cooking time
Cooking time depends on the temperature of the pan, the thickness of the chops, and the time the chops are cooked. It’s good to follow a cooking timer, or use an instant read thermometer, to make sure that the meat doesn’t burn. If the temperature of the pan is too high, you’ll get a nice sear on the meat and it’ll be a little bit tough. For thicker cuts of meat, you may want to give it a little longer.
On the stove, on the grill, on the stovetop, and in the oven, this recipe is for you!
Today we are taking a look at a recipe that uses a very common grocery item. A pork loin chop is a cut from the shoulder area of the pig. These cuts are inexpensive and flavorful. These chops are typically boneless and skinless, so they are perfect for cooking on the stove top, on the grill, or in the oven. A boneless pork loin chop is typically sold in a stack of four, which makes them easier to work with when cooking on the stove top. The chops can also be found whole or chopped up. The chop that you’ll be using in today’s recipe is very large, so you’ll want to either cut it into four pieces or chop it up. But don’t worry, the recipe still works great regardless of how you go about cooking your pork chops.
