Here’s how i do it: i put the meat in front of me and i cover the top with foil. then i turn the heat down low and let it cook for about 5 minutes. after this time, i remove the foil and put back the lid and continue cooking for another 5 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. when done, there will be no trace of any fat left on either side of bone. This is a great way to cook beef. You can also cook it like this with chicken or pork. Just make sure you don’t overcook it. If you’re using a whole roast, you might want to brown it first. That way, only the outside of it will get browned. Also, try to avoid using any salt during the cooking process.
