Stuffed Roast Poutine
I’ve made a pork loin roast for Christmas Eve dinner before, but it’s one of my least favorite dishes to make. I normally have to fight with myself to finish it, because it’s just so darned good. This year, I decided to make this roast in a different way. I’m going to stuff it, instead of breading it. I used pork loin and topped the roast with some poutine, but you can use any meats and any toppings you like. You can either stuff the pork loin roast yourself, or you can have your butcher do it for you. If you can’t find pork loin, you can use a boneless pork shoulder roast. If you’d like, you can also stuff a pork tenderloin roast.
Method
This is a pork loin roast stuffed with a leek, spinach, and white bean stuffing. The stuffing is stuffed into the roast, and then slow cooked with a sweet glaze. This is a great winter recipe because it has many of the flavors of the holidays, especially Christmas. Pork loin roast stuffed with a leek, spinach, and white bean stuffing. How to make this Roast
Don’ts
1) Don’t cook the roast while it is still frozen. This will cause the meat to dry out, making it tough. 2) Don’t serve the roast with gravy or a sauce, as these will make it soggy. 3) Don’t eat the roast before serving it. 4) Don’t leave the roast in the oven for too long. This will result in overcooked meat and a dry roast. 5) Don’t overcook the meat. This will dry out the meat and make it soggy.
