What is a Hard-boiled Egg?

Some people like to cook their eggs in a glass of water in the microwave, but it isn’t advised. You can damage the shell if you do this. Also, the timing will be very difficult to control. If you need to cook your eggs quickly, the method below should work.
How To Cook Hard-boiled Eggs
One of the simplest ways to cook an egg is to hard-boil it. Hard-boiling an egg is the process of boiling an egg for 10 minutes. It’s also known as “soft-boiling” an egg. While not recommended for raw consumption, you can do it a few different ways. For best results, try to avoid cracking the eggshell. When cracking the shell, the egg will split and the whites will break into smaller pieces. This will ensure a clean egg for cooking. Start with cold water. When your eggs are ready, remove them from the water. This helps prevent them from being overcooked. Drain the water from the egg, and place the egg in a microwave safe container. Cover the container with a lid. Microwave the egg for 1-3 minutes, depending on the amount of egg that you want to cook. Remove the egg, and serve. You can use this method for hard-boiling large eggs, or hard-boiling small eggs.
