Baking Powder
Baking powder is a mixture of baking soda and cream of tartar. These two ingredients react with water to form carbon dioxide, which expands the dough in the oven. If you have trouble rising your bread, use baking powder in place of yeast. Just add about a cup of baking powder and a teaspoon of sugar to about half a cup of warm water, then stir and let it sit for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until combined. The dough should look smooth and slightly sticky. The easiest way to tell if it’s ready is to stick a finger in the dough and see if it feels moist. If it doesn’t feel moist, it’s not ready. Let the dough rise for about an hour in a warm spot, or in the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour. Bread should have a fluffy texture. To bake, place the bread in the oven and then close the door. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the bottom of the bread is golden brown.
Milk
If you bake juicy chicken breast you should not put it in butter, or milk. Butter is not good for the chicken. Butter will make the chicken very fatty. Milk will ruin the taste. You should make it with honey, and lemon juice.
