What Is Mummy Pig?
Mummy Pig is the name given to a robot that can swim, move and maneuver like a fish. It was built by engineers at MIT. This robot was designed to be used as an “aquatic assistant.” What exactly does that mean? Researchers at MIT built this robot to be an aquatic assistant. This means that the robot can go underwater for long periods of time and can use sensors to gather data. MIT researchers built this robot for several different reasons. One of the main goals of this project is to help people with movement disorders and spinal cord injuries. The creators of this robot hope that by using their robot, people with these conditions can gain the strength and mobility that they need to be able to walk. If the robot can be used in these settings, it could be used to help patients move from one place to another, or even help them use their arms and legs. Additionally, it can be used to help people who need to live in remote places, such as far-away patients, people in natural disaster zones, or even NASA scientists. Another reason for building this robot was to find new information about aquatic locomotion. The goal of this robot was to help us understand how fish move and what makes them move in different ways.

Mummy Pig is an amazing looking pig who was found on an Indonesian island. When she was found she was only a few weeks old and weighed just 2.5 kg. Since then, she has had quite a journey. Her current weight is around 9 kg. Her story began in the late 1990s, when she was raised in a small area in a village in Aceh, Sumatra. When she was around 6 months old, she was rescued by a charity called the Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre, along with her mother and four other piglets. They were taken to a farm in Malang, Java, which was later moved to Sunway Lagoon, Penang, Malaysia. While in Malaysia, Mummy Pig was named the head of the piggy office. She was named this after she grew into a more dominant leader than any of the other pigs. When her name is pronounced, the “pig” sounds are similar to the letter “m”. This is because the pig’s natural cry sounds like a moo. After five years at the farm, Mummy Pig was sold to a Malaysian zoo and was moved to the Singapore Zoo. She now lives at the Singapore Zoo and is a very popular visitor. Mummy Pig has been honored with several awards over the years. In 2016 she was named the best child in the country for being an ambassador for Singapore.
