It focuses on the ins and outs of a food and beverage establishment, which is usually closed for business, in order to identify and correct its problems. The show’s format involves a team of three British experts who work with the owner of the establishment, at the cost of $10,000. They spend time with the business owner and his staff, in order to gain insight into how the business functions. The experts look for problems such as a lack of cleaning staff, poor kitchen maintenance, and lacking customer service.

Why We Still Love Kitchen Nightmares?

With the help of his crew of heartless sous chefs, Gordon Ramsay, a renowned chef who has starred in multiple shows on TLC, seeks to turn around a number of failing restaurants, with the hopes that they will eventually succeed. Through his own personal troubles and troubles with his crew, he gets to see how certain customers react and how he can attempt to save a failing restaurant. In order to work together, the restaurants are then forced to form a strong relationship with Ramsay, with the hope that it will help them succeed in the future.

This was our final installment of the kitchen nightmares. As we shared last time, we’ve noticed an increase in people seeking our advice on how to revamp their kitchen. Kitchen nightmares tend to include anything from a mish-mash of appliances, unsightly tools or furniture, a lack of space, or even an old refrigerator. Another one. A class of food which continues to plague us. Every few weeks the first one is proven. Either it was a huge over-cooked mess, or the chef left at the station and no one noticed. Either way, the bottom line is that the food was not good. And it’s never good to have bad food. A good meal is very important to us. We know that we can’t always go to a nice restaurant and expect a good meal, so we’ve been trying to understand how to be better. The first question we had was, what happened to the kitchen? Why can’t restaurants and chefs make safe, delicious food? The answer seems obvious. In every restaurant, there are people who are behind the scene. These are the people who, for whatever reason, do not meet the minimum standards for employment. We want to know how many of these “employees” are still out there, and whether they are making safe, delicious food.
