The third season is currently in production in Shizuoka, where the series is based. It’s still unclear when the series will premiere. The series will follow the story of the Kami twins, Tohru and Miku, as they enter the realm of the gods. The series ran for 5 seasons and starred Shohta Odawara, Yukari Gotou, Yuji Kuriya, and Junichi Suwabe. The anime was originally adapted from a web manga series that was created by original anime character designer Masashi Kishimoto. The first anime adaptation aired in 1997, and the second in 1999. Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired in Japan in 2010. A manga adaptation of the anime was also published by Kodansha.
