Simply cut it in half and remove the spine and tail. The next step is to score the swordfish with a knife. To do this, you need to make deep cuts along the skin, but not deep enough to cut through the flesh. The score marks will then make the swordfish easier to grill. You should grill the swordfish for about 8 minutes on each side. As soon as it begins to brown, flip it over and grill the other side.
