The best time to make your tenderloin is around an hour and a half before you plan on eating. Why is that? That time gives you enough time to get all of your ingredients ready, and to sear the chicken. Searing the meat first allows it to take on a nice crust that will hold up throughout the cooking process. After cooking, you’ll want to flip your chicken tenderloins and cook them for around 10 minutes more. It’s important to watch the tenders carefully during this time. Remove the pork medallions, turning them over occasionally to keep them from sticking, and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes. Turn the pork medallions one more time and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes. Remove the pork medallions from the air fryer.
How Do I Cook Pork Medallions in Air Fryer?
Cooking a pork tenderloin in air fryer is a healthier option to traditional grilling. The main benefit of air frying is that you can cook a whole pork tenderloin in a matter of minutes. And that means less fat and calories. To cook the pork tenderloin in an air fryer, you first need to prepare a marinade. Cut the pork tenderloin in half so that it’s in a long thin shape. Combine the marinade ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together. Place the pork tenderloin in a separate container and pour the marinade over the meat. Refrigerate the meat for about 3 hours. Then add oil to the air fryer bowl and fill about halfway with water. Place the pork tenderloin and marinade in the air fryer. Cook on high for about 30 to 45 minutes. This will depend on the size of the tenderloin. The pork tenderloin should be cooked through but with a pink center. Remove the pork tenderloin from the air fryer and set on a serving plate. To serve, spoon some of the pan juices over the pork tenderloin.
Cut Into Thin Slabs or Just Thick?
If you’re having a guest over, or you’re cooking for a lot of people, then you might want to cut your pork tenderloin in to thick slices. A long, thin slice of tenderloin is very difficult to cook and won’t be as flavorful as thicker cut tenderloin. On the other hand, you can cut your tenderloin into thin slabs.
Cooking Time for Pork Medallions
To cook pork medallions in an air fryer, cook the pork medallions on the middle rack until the pork is cooked, 6 to 9 minutes. Remove the pork from the air fryer. Serve the pork medallions immediately. To serve the pork medallions, remove the meat from the bone and serve it with the gravy.
