Since pork is a lean meat, you will need to cook them at a lower temperature to prevent the meat from drying out.

Pork chops need to be cooked until a meat thermometer registers 145 degrees F. When you reach this temperature, the meat will be very tender. Cut the pork chops and let them rest. After about five to ten minutes, slice the pork chops and serve.

When cooking pork chops, it’s important to remember that the temperature will be lower in the first 5 minutes of cooking. So, you want to start with a temperature of 350°F for 15-20 minutes. This way the chops will have a nice, moist texture.

You’re going to want to use an Instant Read Thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chops. When the Thermometer says the temperature is 165 degrees, the pork chops are done. When they reach 165 degrees, pull them out of the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. This is so the internal temperature of the pork chops will reach 165 degrees. This is essential for you to be able to tell when the pork chops are cooked to perfection.
